Narrow focus
One or two products at a time. Each one earns its development budget by solving a real, specific problem for a real, specific person.
RPTX Software builds focused products that respect your attention, your data, and your time. Our first product, AskFolder, is live today at askfolder.com — a cited, private assistant that turns any folder into something you can actually ask.
One or two products at a time. Each one earns its development budget by solving a real, specific problem for a real, specific person.
Next.js, React, and TypeScript on the front. Postgres, edge caching, and carefully chosen serverless on the back. A mainstream, well-supported stack — current without chasing hype, and predictable where predictability matters.
Every feature ships with a reproduction script. If we cannot break it on purpose, we haven't understood it well enough yet.
No growth hacks. No notification spam. No "free trial" that quietly charges your card. We price honestly and cancel in two clicks.
Turn any folder into a searchable, cited AI assistant — without handing your documents to a black box.
AskFolder indexes your documents — local, Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint — and gives you fast, private, natural-language answers with citations back to the exact page.
Plain-English questions that map to meaning, not just literal strings. No boolean operator gymnastics.
Jump straight to the exact page in the source document. If we can't cite it, we don't claim it.
Each workspace has its own encrypted index. Your files are never co-mingled with another customer's data.
Connect a source, ask a question. No admin configuration, no professional services call.
Your documents are yours. No training on your content, and AI providers are contractually bound to the same.
Changes show up in seconds, not hours. New docs are searchable almost as soon as you add them.
Find the paragraph in the contract that proves your point, cited back to the exact page. Every claim traceable.
Query across hundreds of PDFs at once. Compare methods, extract quotes, build reading notes with source links.
Turn your supplier archive into a searchable knowledge base. Answer lead-time and pricing questions instantly.
New hires ask questions in plain English and get answers from the actual docs, not your Slack history.
Before a line of code is written, we map the exact problem with the people who have it. If we can't explain it in one paragraph, we don't understand it yet.
A usable thing in a week, not a slide deck in a month. We get something in your hands fast so the feedback loop is real.
Tests, error handling, infrastructure chosen for longevity — the unglamorous majority of the work that makes software last.
We stay with our products after they launch. Small, steady improvements beat splashy rewrites. A changelog, not a newsletter.
RPTX builds a very small number of software products, each designed to do one specific job exceptionally well. We prefer depth to breadth, durability to novelty, and the kind of reliability you only get from watching real users work with a tool over several years.
We ship carefully, iterate quietly, and write release notes that actually tell you what changed. When something breaks, we fix it and write down why.
Rarely, and only for projects that align with what we're already doing. If you have an interesting problem involving documents, retrieval, or applied AI, drop us a line.
RPTX LLC is registered in Wyoming, United States. We invoice in USD and file US federal taxes transparently.
RPTX LLC is a founder-led company focused on retrieval, applied AI, and document-centric products, with twelve-plus years of production engineering experience behind it — more about RPTX. For KYC, vendor due-diligence, UBO verification, or any security questionnaire, see our Trust & security overview or email legal@rptxsoftware.com — we aim to respond within one business day.
Pricing is published directly on askfolder.com. Flat monthly fees, no "contact us for pricing" tiers, no hidden-inside-enterprise seats. If you can't find the price in thirty seconds, we consider that a bug. How payments are processed, which taxes apply, and how invoicing works are all documented on the product page.
All published at the bottom of every page: Privacy policy, Terms of service, Data Processing Agreement (standard GDPR Article 28 with SCCs attached), subprocessors list, and Trust & security overview. For a countersigned DPA PDF, email legal@rptxsoftware.com and we aim to return one within one business day.
AskFolder is cloud-first today. Our hosting, encryption, and data-residency posture is documented in full on the Trust & security overview. If you have strict data-residency requirements or need a self-hosted option, write to legal@rptxsoftware.com — we'll tell you honestly what's on the near-term roadmap.
No. Your documents are yours. We only send inputs to AI providers under paid or enterprise API terms that prohibit using your prompts, uploads, or generated outputs to train or improve their models. The authoritative list of vendors we rely on is on our Subprocessors page, and the commitment itself is in our Privacy policy and Terms of service, not just marketing.
Email is the fastest way: hello@rptxsoftware.com for general questions, legal@rptxsoftware.com for compliance, and billing@rptxsoftware.com for invoicing. We aim to reply within one business day, usually sooner.
AskFolder is live at askfolder.com — open it, point it at a folder, ask a question. For anything else, we read every email and aim to reply within one business day.
