Founder · Software engineerPeter is a software engineer with twelve-plus years of production engineering experience across backend systems, data pipelines, and applied machine learning. His work has ranged from consumer APIs handling tens of millions of requests per day to enterprise data platforms measured in uptime, migrations, and late-night pages.
He founded RPTX in 2026 to focus on building a very small number of software products, very well, for a very long time — with the specific goal of shipping durable tools to people who actually use them, rather than optimizing for growth metrics or acquisition narratives.
AskFolder is the first product. It turns any folder — local, Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint — into a cited, private assistant for your documents. The design principle is simple: if the assistant can't cite it, it doesn't claim it.
The studio
RPTX LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, publishing software products under the brand name “RPTX Software”. The company was formed in 2026 and is founder-owned.
We invoice in US dollars and file US federal taxes transparently. The full list of vendors that handle payment or personal data on our behalf lives on our Subprocessors page; billing specifics for each product are documented on its own site.
Our engineering philosophy is summarised in the manifesto: narrow focus, modern stack shipped carefully, reproducible tests, and respect for the attention of the people who use our products.
For KYC, procurement, and vendor onboarding
Everything a compliance team typically needs is published or available on request:
- Trust & security overview — hosting, encryption, incident response, compliance roadmap.
- Data Processing Agreement — standard GDPR Article 28 DPA, with SCCs attached as annex.
- Subprocessors list — every third party we use and what they do.
- Privacy policy and Terms of service.
- security.txt — vulnerability disclosure contact and policy (RFC 9116).
